At American Career College, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion with the next generation of Medical Assistant.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will make an impact by:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Delivering class instruction according to an approved curriculum using accepted and effective teaching methods.</li>\n <li>Developing daily lesson plans; advising, remediating, and tutoring students; maintaining current and accurate attendance and grade records; remaining current in applicable program teaching field.</li>\n <li>Participating in faculty meetings, professional growth activities in the respective field and two (2) in-service training sessions annually.</li>\n <li>Participating in college activities such as in-services, faculty meetings, student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings.</li>\n <li>Striving for student success by providing quality instruction results in students’ achievement of academic goals and program requirements, retention of students, and preparation for entry-level positions in the healthcare field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Your Experience Includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Three (3) years of occupational (i.e. practical) experience in the subject field in which they teach.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>All full-time core faculty who are occupational therapy practitioners teaching in the program must hold a minimum of a baccalaureate degree awarded by an institution that is accredited by a USDE-recognized regional or national accrediting body. The degrees are not limited to occupational therapy.</li>\n <li>Master's degree in healthcare field preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Licenses/Certifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Occupational Therapy Practitioner license (or eligible for licensure) in California.</li>\n <li>Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).</li>\n <li>Current CPR Card</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>CA Salary Range</h2>USD $78,458.19 - USD $113,753.20 /Yr.\n<h2>Bonus Eligible</h2>No\n<h2>ACC Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Do you want a career that allows you to make a difference in other people’s lives?
