Please visit <u>http://www.skfoodgroup.com</u> for more information.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">We are looking for a 2<sup>nd</sup> Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Tolleson, AZ. Reporting to the Plant Director.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>SUMMARY</strong>:</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide leadership and supervision for Production and Sanitation functions.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage all Operations on shift.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide support and leadership in inventory control, quality assurance, use of the ERP system &lsquo;X3&rsquo;, and purchasing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate effectively with subordinates, peers, and supervisors.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage staff to provide consistent performance with predicable results.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review performance metrics and make improvements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with support departments to make improvements in all facets of the organization including safety, food safety, quality, purchasing, accounting, training and Human Resources.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide support and active involvement in Food Safety improvement initiatives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review daily production schedule for effective utilization of labor.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage department budgets and hourly labor wage.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Insure proper packaging and labeling of product is being done correctly.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Controls product waste and makes adjustments if waste is higher.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor production line flow to optimize product safety and yields.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Insure work orders are completed as requested for quality and scheduling requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Continually monitor Production areas for required sanitation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Audit associates time sheets and ensure proper clock in and clock outs per associate are done in ADP.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Plan/schedule next day&rsquo;s production run with subordinates.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with SQF, AIB, GFSI, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides proper guides and mentoring to subordinates in food safety programs and GMP&rsquo;s practices.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position directly supervises several subordinate Supervisors and Hourly associates on shift.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong>:</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (B.S.) from a four year college or university, and four+ years of management related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous Supervisory Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">HACCP or SQF certification is recommended.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Leadership and time management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic knowledge of SPC, Control Charts, Lean Manufacturing.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
