In this role, you will take charge of resolving complex construction project-related issues, disputes, and disagreements, ensuring smooth progress throughout all phases of the projects. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing, assigning, and meticulously monitoring the performance of Construction Managers in relation to the construction schedules submitted.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">ABOUT YOU<br></span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">You are a Senior Project Manager II professional with minimum of 17 years of experience in project/ construction management and at least 5 years of experience managing large programs with projects having construction values <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">exceeding $50 million (not cumulative) </span>and you have 5 years of experience in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Manage and provide construction oversight to Construction Managers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Resolve complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Develop, assign, and monitor performance of Construction Managers relative to assigned construction projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Review status and overall construction project progress relative to submitted construction schedules.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Review change orders from all construction projects and assess their impact on the client.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assist Regional Directors and other Facilities Management staff with bid and contract planning.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assess bid specifications according to the client needs and probability of completion under stated timeline.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Review status and monitor variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Review and verify submitted applications for payment and perform overall fiscal management of multiple construction projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Provide functional direction over areas of responsibility including construction project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Review and monitor overall administration of contracts for Architects and related consultants.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Coordinate program activities with other client organizational branches and departments </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Review and take recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Develop and recommend internal policies and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Perform other related duties as assigned.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">17 years full time paid professional experience in project/construction management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">5 years of experience in managing large programs with projects having <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">construction values exceeding $50 millions (not cumulative)</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">5 years of experience in educational facility constructions, public works or large commercial projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Design-Build experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Leadership experience in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">You must have one of the following:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree. Candidate must be able to complete the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential within one (1) year of employment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">College undergraduate but possess more than 20 years of Construction or Project Management experience and must complete the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) </span>credential within one (1) year of employment in the Facilities Services Division.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Possession of a valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential at the time of resume submission which may substitute for the required education.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">PREFERRED LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or </span>Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Citadel is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.
