Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Toolmaker ensures the team meets or exceeds all goals and objectives required from this department.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build/fabricate mold components</li>\n<li>Fit and assemble molds with use of overhead cranes, repair molds</li>\n<li>Perform work-in-progress measuring or checking using specialized and precision tools and equipment</li>\n<li>Make all appropriate personnel aware of any potential tooling problems, issues, or questions</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean workspace and organization of materials</li>\n<li>Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using provided paper and/or electronic logs</li>\n<li>Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and work-process documentation</li>\n<li>Build precision mold components using conventional and numerically controlled metal-cutting machines and equipment including saws, drills, grinders, lathes, mills, and EDMs</li>\n<li>Use the forklift to transport molds / mold components throughout the shop</li>\n<li>At all times, adhere to customer standards on all tool designs and the internal lean manufacturing guidelines</li>\n<li>Responsible for maintaining safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations</li>\n<li>Participate in required meetings and training, as requested<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certification or College Degree, or High School diploma and Equivalent Experience in Mold Manufacturing environment</li>\n<li>Eight (8) years of related experience building, leading and assembly of high cavitation, multi-action molds</li>\n<li>Ability to perform under pressure and work independently</li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required</li>\n<li>Ability to ensure quality standards are met</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail is required</li>\n<li>Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills</li>\n<li>Proficient in time management and communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our commitment to you…</span></p>\n<p>SyBridge Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of any kind.  We are committed to the attitude of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. All employment decisions at SyBridge are based on business needs, job requirements and individual qualifications, without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, National origin, veteran or disability status, family or parental status, or any other status protected by the laws or regulations in the locations where we operate.  SyBridge encourages applicants of all ages.</p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p>This position will require prolonged standing and sitting for periods of time.
