    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>This temporary PRN Staff Pharmacist in the Outpatient Pharmacy clinic will provide dispensing, distributive, educational, and clinical pharmacy services when needed.&nbsp; This position will cover for the full time Pharmacists up to 16 hours per month in the outpatient community pharmacy.</p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dispense or supervise the dispensation of medications and related supplies, according to physicians' prescriptions.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review prescriptions for accuracy and authenticity.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Complete Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) on each prescription.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Compound medications and prepare special solutions.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Recommend drug therapy changes when appropriate.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Educate patients and staff on drug therapies.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure the pharmacy complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support the technician as needed to include similar duties.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support the pharmacy by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Help health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide assistance with other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; BS or Pharm.D. earned from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 2 years’ experience preferred</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.25in;\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent interpersonal communication skills.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to operate computers and calculators.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to use a keyboard.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Job required continuous reading skills, verbal communication skills, including excellent telephone etiquette and written communication skills.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to function well as a member of any team.</p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Licenses/Certifications:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; BS or Pharm D from ACPE approved College of Pharmacy.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; License to practice pharmacy in the state of Nebraska.</p>",
