Not only are we committed to serving our patients, but we also have a culture of servant leadership and collaboration that supports each team member’s personal and professional development.</p>\n<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>The primary responsibility of the Surgical Coordinator Supervisor is to provide effective and proactive management of surgical operations; to ensure exceptional service to Ocular Partners patients and to achieve annual operational and financial goals. The Supervisor engages in developing and implementing action plans to meet annual goals and to resolve surgical scheduling issues. The Surgical Coordinator Supervisor develops a culture of extraordinary and respectful collaboration by carefully overseeing effective work performance by surgical counselors. The Surgical Coordinator Supervisor collaborates with other directors and clinic board to improve patient access to care through clinic resources including provider schedules and staffing.</p>\n<p><strong>Pay Range - $23.00- $25.50/Hr.  Commensurate with experience</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participates in the development of and oversees the implementation and evaluation of programs and processes to provide necessary patient care services using appropriate resources. (Oversees Surgical Counselors and all their responsibilities which include education, insurance verification and financial patient responsibility) </li>\n <li>Reviews care and performance standards to ensure that identified patient care needs and regulatory requirements are met and/or exceeded. </li>\n <li>Reviews task and follows up with patients that have not booked surgery by calling</li>\n <li>Works collaboratively with surgery Center team to ensure optimal patient flow</li>\n <li>Supports and contributes to new or ongoing projects within the organization. </li>\n <li>Optimal patient care and cost effective management is maintained through utilization of data and information from quality assessment and standards monitoring. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>(Conversion results on Lipiflow, Prokera, BlephEx and Premium lens)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completes operational reporting on a timely basis (due at the first of the month)</li>\n <li>Participates in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning process as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Ensures consistent operational execution of patient experience and alignment between all office sites.</li>\n <li>Performs all necessary supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel assigned</li>\n <li>Coordinates OR and clinic scheduling </li>\n <li>Enter all surgical charges</li>\n <li>Continues professional knowledge by attending educational workshops.</li>\n <li>Provides guidance and direction to staff by organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling activities for the care of patients, the development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, strategic planning and the fostering of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree in a related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and 2-3 years of related work experience is required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, develop, train, coach, evaluate, communicate, and discipline individual staff members, as necessary.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of and experience in a surgically related field, such as surgical technology, medical equipment maintenance, medical device service and support.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on process improvement and efficiency gains.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<p>We offer a competitive benefits package to our employees:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical</li>\n <li>Dental</li>\n <li>Vision</li>\n <li>401k w/ Match</li>\n <li>HSA/FSA</li>\n <li>Telemedicine</li>\n <li>Generous PTO Package</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We also offer the following benefits for FREE:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Employee Discounts and Perks</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Group Life/AD&D </li>\n <li>Short Term Disability Insurance </li>\n <li>Long Term Disability Insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>For more information related to our benefits offered, please follow the link to our benefits page: </strong> https://www.eyesouthpartners.com/careers/employee-benefits/  (If the link does not work for you, please copy and paste it into your browser).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EyeSouth Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
