    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Dewberry is currently seeking a <strong>Site / Civil Engineer</strong> for its Land Development operation. This opportunity is open in our Lanham Maryland office.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position requires seven (7) plus years of experience in civil design of land development activities including: design of grading, storm water management, soil erosion & sediment control, public and private roadways, storm drainage and water & sewer design. The selected candidate will become part of a growing team that provides complete, comprehensive land development services to a variety of clients. This position requires subject matter knowledge and breadth/depth experience to move projects from concept to completion including design work, plan and permit processing, and construction phase services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Individual will be responsible for preparation and coordination of all Land Development design aspects; work closely with Senior Project Manager and agency staff.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Dewberry is a leading, market-facing professional services firm with more than 60 locations and 2,500 professionals nationwide. Both vary based on level within the program and bonuses are dependent upon company performance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Selected candidate will be part of a multi-discipline team who design and develop construction plans for site civil/infrastructure projects.</li>\n <li>Specific work may include but is not limited to:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Client communication</li>\n  <li>Construction document (plan and specifications) and technical reports preparation and/or oversight</li>\n  <li>Engineering analyses and cost estimates</li>\n  <li>Quality control/quality assurance in order to deliver a quality design product.</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS Degree in Civil Engineering or proven equal experience.</li>\n <li>Three (3) years of experience directly related to the design and execution of Land Development Projects required. Five or more years preferred.</li>\n <li>FE required. PE in the State of Maryland preferred.</li>\n <li>Preparation of reports, exhibits and Site/Civil Construction Plans.</li>\n <li>Strong technical capabilities in various Software Applications including but not limited to:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Abode Acrobat.</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Strong understanding of civil site design for retail, commercial, residential, and urban redevelopment projects required.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Civil 3D or other model-based software is desirable.</li>\n <li>Experienced individual must be capable of delivering projects that meet technical requirements on time and within budget.</li>\n <li>Skill sets must include the ability to perform and /or direct civil related engineering work on diverse design projects across various market segments and with varying degrees of complexity.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to become proficient in Dewberry engineering practices, standards, and Dewberry-specific software programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>The salary range for this position is $94,000-$120,000 in our Lanham, MD office. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Don’t meet every single requirement?
