Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.</li>\n<li><br>Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.</li>\n<li><br>Collaborate with Team: Work closely with construction crews, supervisors, and other operators to coordinate tasks and achieve project objectives.</li>\n<li><br>Read and Interpret Plans: Understand and follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to accurately complete tasks.</li>\n<li><br>Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials as required for various construction activities.</li>\n<li><br>Troubleshooting: Identify and address minor issues with equipment and work with the maintenance team for major repairs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Experience: Proven experience operating heavy machinery in construction or related fields.</li>\n<li><br>Skills: Proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment. Strong understanding of safety procedures and construction practices.</li>\n<li><br>Communication: Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.</li>\n<li><br>Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to address equipment issues and operational challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Experience with specialized equipment (e.g., bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders).</li>\n<li><br>Knowledge of environmental and regulatory compliance related to construction operations within MODOT and ARDOT.</li>\n<li><br>Must successfully complete MoDOT Flagger Training Course and OSHA 10</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.</li>\n<li><br>Ability to bend, sit, stoop, and stand for long periods of time in the outdoor weather.</li>\n<li><br>Ability to be exposed to concrete dust, curing compounds, and form oil daily.</li>\n<li><br>Ability to work in field environments with exposure to dust, inclement weather conditions, extreme heat, cold, noise, vibrations and a variety of petroleum products.</li>\n<li><br>Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.</li>\n<li><br>Ability to walk and work on uneven terrain.</li>\n<li><br>Ability to climb stairs and ladders.</li>\n<li><br>Ability to work comfortably and safely at heights on all types of structures.</li>\n<li><br>Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.</li>\n</ul>",
