Someone who is comfortable driving strategic initiatives, fostering team growth, and diving into day-to-day execution. In addition to executing energy services a portion of time will be focused on supporting energy team, mentoring team members, and working closely with business leadership.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Description:</span></p>\n<p>The Energy Business Lead will play a key role in driving the continued growth of the E3M Solutions Energy team. This position involves leading turn-key projects, energy assessments, commissioning, and proactive energy management agreements. As a strategic leader, the Business Lead will empower and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment that supports the team's development and success.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Accountabilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own execution of the Energy Division’s Strategy and operational plans</li>\n<li>Drive operational excellence, project delivery, and team performance</li>\n<li>Lead, develop, and hold Energy Team accountable</li>\n<li>Ensure cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Energy, BIM, and office operations</li>\n<li>Deliver financial results including profitability, efficiency, and client satisfaction</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Leading Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead conceptual development meetings with E3M team, clients, or contractors.</li>\n<li>Provide direction and oversight for team lead(s) and design team for workloads, skills development, and position tasks in an empowering manor.</li>\n<li>Coordinate team schedule for deadlines, priorities, workload, etc.</li>\n<li>Develop proposals for clients’ needs and requirements.</li>\n<li>Spearhead mentoring of team for professional and technical development.</li>\n<li>Lead communication efforts on projects that the team lead is directly responsible for.</li>\n<li>Serve as primary source of SD efforts on larger and conceptual projects.</li>\n<li>Complete and provide peer review technical documents, drawings, or reports.</li>\n<li>Coordinate team efforts in maintaining of standards &amp; tools.</li>\n<li>Work in R&amp;D efforts on new technologies and opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete and provide peer review of:\n<ul>\n<li>Energy Models &amp; Savings Calculations</li>\n<li>Site Visits, Assessments &amp; Reports</li>\n<li>Air Audits</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Project Management of energy related projects and management strategies</li>\n<li>Client communication via phone, email and written reports</li>\n<li>Provide understanding and direction on a wide variety of solutions (as dictated by clients)\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical &amp; Electrical Systems</li>\n<li>Lighting &amp; Lighting Controls</li>\n<li>DDC Controls Systems &amp; VFD/VSD’s</li>\n<li>Compressed Air Systems</li>\n<li>Process Related Systems</li>\n<li>Alternative Energy Systems</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands on approach to problem solving</li>\n<li>Strong troubleshooting skills</li>\n<li>HVACR degree or engineering degree - preferred but not required</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification - preferred but not required</p>",
