To comply with accredited testing for ISO requirements.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Weigh, mix, and cure formulations provided by chemists.</li>\n <li>Perform efficiently and effectively required physical and aging testing of compounds.</li>\n <li>Compile and present raw data to designated personnel.</li>\n <li>Assist with generation of Measurement Uncertainty budgets.</li>\n <li>Assist in development of work instructions for performed tests.</li>\n <li>Report and participate in nonconformities and subsequent cause investigation resulting in corrective/preventive actions.</li>\n <li>Participate in the training of new personnel.</li>\n <li>Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science or related field, preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.</li>\n <li>Five (5) years' laboratory testing experience, rubber testing, preferred. Aptitude in chemistry or knowledge of rubber chemistry.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with ISO preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Rubber ASTM (D2000) test methods preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong computer/systems skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).</li>\n <li>Strong cooperation and collaboration skills.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliant.</li>\n <li>Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Ability to coach and develop Associates.</li>\n <li>Ability to interact well in a team environment with all personality types.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>HEXPOL Compounding Americas (HCA) is an essential early contributor to the global value chain responsible for the safety, quality, and performance of rubber compounding products and components used by original equipment manufacturers across a range of industries.
