The Mobile Wastewater Operator provides operations and maintenance support to various wastewater facilities as directed. &nbsp;The Mobile Operator is an independent and well-organized self-starter who is capable of managing his or her schedule to complete assigned site coverage requirements as noted below.</span></p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform critical testing of facility operations, such as PH, dissolved oxygen, chlorine, etc., in order to monitor system condition</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform general preventative maintenance on treatment plant equipment such as blower oil, filter and belt changes pulling and inspecting submersible pumps, etc.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all phases of facility operations</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all equipment and plant maintenance</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assist in preparing monthly written operating report based on facility&rsquo;s operation and/or maintenance records for the client, employer or regulatory agency as required</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Inform Supervisor in a timely manner of plant problems, upsets, plant expansion, repairs, etc.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Work conscientiously, adhere to EH&amp;S policies and processes, and be aware of and report safety hazards</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Participates in a 24 hour on call rotation</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Be prepared to discuss in a professional manner the plant operations with employer, client, visitors or regulatory personnel</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Collect required samples, log in samples correctly and accurately, and submit samples to laboratory and review results to ensure permit compliance</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Operate plants to meet all regulatory guidelines and responsibilities</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Participate in 24-hour on-call rotation within the designated service area.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assist maintenance personnel with pump, blower, motor, valve, etc. removal</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain accurate records for gasoline, mileage, timesheets, expenses, etc.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Work scheduled weekends and occasional holidays for assigned route</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Project a positive image to operators, clients, regulatory agencies, engineers, etc.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Confined Space Entry &ndash; this may be required on occasion after thorough training provided by NSU</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performs other related duties as assigned by management</li></ul><p><br></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Must be 21 years of age or older</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Hold a valid NJ: S-3 and C-3 Wastewater Licenses.
