The Armed EMT or RN Security Operative will conduct armed foot patrol (interior and exterior).  Additional duties include responding to emergency incidents,  composing reports, and deterring criminal activity and misconduct.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities</li>\n <li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner</li>\n <li>Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.</li>\n <li>Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting, persons as needed</li>\n <li>Observe and report inappropriate or suspicious behavior and/or materials/objects to the client</li>\n <li>Communicate and/or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Have a minimum of  5 years police experience with a city, state, government, or municipality</li>\n <li>Possess 20 college credits from a police academy or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Possess a valid EMT certificate or registered nursing license</li>\n <li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
