Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.</span></span></p><p>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship</strong></p><ul><li><strong>What you’ll do:</strong><br>Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (example: Soil, concrete or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting</li><li>Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams</li><li>Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results</li><li>Prepare and submit detailed daily field reports containing site observations and test results<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>1+ year experience in construction industry</li><li>Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance</li><li>Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound</li><li>Ability to kneel and squat occasionally and be able to walk/stand for long periods of time</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures</li><li>Ability to climb occasionally, and work at various heights</li><li>Ability to work over night hours and off shift</li><li>Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed</li><li>Valid Enhanced Driver’s License and reliable driving record</li><li>Valid Passport if Enhanced Driver's license is not available</li><li><strong>Ability to pass NAVFAC and USACE background checks for access to US Navy and Army/Air Force installations</strong></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Some Construction Materials Testing experience</li><li>ACI certification or other construction related certifications<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Intertek is a world leader in the Quality Assurance market, with a proven, high-quality business model and a global network of customer-focused operations and highly engaged subject matter experts.
