    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Associate to support the production of clinical cell therapy products in a cGMP manufacturing environment. In this hands-on role, you will perform critical manufacturing activities including aseptic processing, raw material preparation, batch record execution, and cleanroom operations to ensure the consistent production of high-quality cell therapy products. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience in a regulated environment, a strong commitment to quality and compliance, and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional teams in advancing innovative cell therapy programs. This position offers the opportunity to play a direct role in delivering life-changing therapies while working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative manufacturing setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Perform clinical product manufacturing for cell therapy according to cGMP standards - Includes assembling raw materials, following specific standard operating procedures (SOP), aseptic technique, completing batch records, and reporting deviations</li>\n <li> Demonstrates and assists others with aseptic technique</li>\n <li> May participate in technology transfer and final process development from the Development to the Manufacturing group - Occasionally supports the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or other documentation for manufacturing in collaboration with Development and Quality groups.</li>\n <li> Ensures raw materials are identified and available in time for manufacturing activities - Transfer raw material inside cleanroom suite using sanitizing reagents</li>\n <li> Supports Operations group to ensure proper coordination of resources</li>\n <li> Ensures cGMP compliance through consistent execution</li>\n <li> Demonstrate the Vertex Phenotype behaviors: Lead by Example; Learn, Teach & Develop; Foster  Exceptional Collaboration; Drive Breakthrough Results; and Promote Enterprise Thinking</li>\n <li> Other duties and projects as assigned to meet departmental requirements</li>\n <li> Works in a cleanroom and office setting</li>\n <li> Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% during processing activities</li>\n <li> Frequently move about inside the cleanroom to accomplish process tasks</li>\n <li> Occasionally moves lab equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li> Compressed gasses and LN2 are used in this process</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience & Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2-4 years manufacturing experience is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Contract Length:</strong> 6-month contract with a chance to extend. </p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>\n<p>$35 - $42/HR</p>\n<h2>Shift/Hours</h2>\n<p>TBD</p>\n<h2>Requisition Disclaimer</h2>\n<p><em>This job posting is for a is for a temporary role with a third-party agency partner on assignment at Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
