    "description": "<p>The Controller is responsible for preparation of financial analyses of operations, including<br>monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance<br>of management. The Controller must be comfortable incorporating AI into all aspects of<br>Finance, and also assist with helping to improve other areas of the Company (e.g. HR) through<br>the usage of AI. The Controller will manage the daily activities of the Finance department<br>providing information about all Company activities to assist management, its stakeholders and<br>other users in making informed business decisions. She/he will work closely with senior<br>management to support business plans and objectives.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial Reporting and Close: Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing<br>processes producing accurate financial statements, dashboards, KPIs, and analyses.</li>\n<li>Accounting Operations: Manage daily functions including AP, AR, billing, G/L, Cash,<br>revenue recognition, and daily dashboard reporting.</li>\n<li>Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop, Refine and maintain internal control<br>systems, enforce company policies, and ensure compliance with GAAP.</li>\n<li>Audit and Tax Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax<br>professionals, and regulatory compliance requirements.</li>\n<li>Strategic Analysis: Analyze business operations, costs, and revenues to identify<br>trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.</li>\n<li>Team Leadership: Train and mentor accounting staff while improving financial systems<br>and incorporating automation and other tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>REQUIREMENTS:<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>8+ years of progressive financial operations management experience, ideally<br>including some early experience in a Big 4 or regional CPA firm.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the general ledger, ERP systems, billing, payroll, risk management,<br>state and federal taxes, sales taxes, revenue recognition, financial planning and<br>analysis.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with leadership across Finance, Operations, Product, HR, Marketing, and<br>Sales to ensure financial accuracy and process alignment.</li>\n<li>Leadership attributes and be able to navigate critical areas for successful growth.</li>\n<li>Provide hands-on support to the CFO on special projects, including investor reporting,<br>board materials, and strategic initiatives.</li>\n<li>Willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the details as well as to operate at a<br>higher strategic level.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required.</li>\n<li>CPA designation is required.</li>\n<li>Recent experience in a comparable role as a Controller/CPA in a medium sized<br>business.</li>\n<li>Recent experience with utilization and implementation of AI within Finance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>CORE COMPETENCIES:<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to utilize AI to eliminate repetitive tasks and assist with streamlining all facets and<br>processes within Finance.<br>Outstanding communication skills (written, oral and listening).</li>\n<li>Able to work in diverse groups (collaboration) and within a remote setting.<br></li>\n<li>Critical thinking and problem solving.</li>\n<li>Experience with consolidations and international subsidiaries.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and cash flow management.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills.</li>\n<li>Detail oriented, but able to see the big picture.</li>\n<li>Able to take timely initiative in appropriate situations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>About High 5 Games:</p>\n<p><br>Join the leader of the fastest-growing segment of online entertainment – Casino Gaming.<br>Developing for the land-based, online, mobile, and social markets, High 5 Games has created<br>hundreds of games that are played in 150 countries on six continents.
