We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our Orthopedic Surgery team with a focus on foot and ankle, located at 1801 N. Senate Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46202. This is a full-time, onsite position. The RN will lead clinic operations and perform a variety of patient care duties, including rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing up injections, wound care, post-operative care, patient education, triaging messages, completing disability paperwork, surgery screening, care coordination, and discharge planning for post-surgical patients. Occasional travel to other sites will be required. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized podiatry setting, providing comprehensive care and support to patients. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm No weekends! No holidays! Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction. Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
