Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Pay</strong>:</p><ul><li>This position may be eligible for a $8,000 sign-on bonus.</li><li>Additional components of compensation may include:&nbsp;<ul><li>Evening and night shift differential</li><li>Weekend differential</li></ul></li><li>Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants</li></ul><p><br>Be part of something remarkable</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Play an essential role in the quality and safety of patient care, performing a wide range of procedures that assist our providers with the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients and their health needs.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Medical Technologist – Microbiology </strong>to:</p><ul><li>Perform routine to complex lab testing. &nbsp;Bring forth the specialized scientific and technical knowledge essential to perform lab testing.</li><li>Provide technical leadership for designated systems.</li><li>Oversee all operational aspects for designated systems including, proper maintenance, calibration and performance, inventory management, training, competency assessment, and teaching.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p>At UW Health, you will have:</p><ul><li>An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, two-week paid parental leave and adoption assistance.
