Join us and let's build excellence together. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is on-site and requires working from the regional office.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities: </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This full-time exempt level finance position is responsible for applying accounting principles to compile, depict, and process information. Provides financial insight, prepares relevant reports, maintains, and readies business and financial transactions; all while working in accordance with company policies, procedures, and programs.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assembles, accounts for, and assists with analyzing data related to payroll, equipment, subcontracts, permanent materials, and overheads.</li>\n <li>Assist in the generation and analysis of financial forecasts including construction project revenue, margin, and cash flow.</li>\n <li>Contributes to the preparation of profit and loss statements, and accounting reports.</li>\n <li>Prepares and enters accounting journal entries and assists in the monthly closing process of the general ledger.</li>\n <li>Interprets the meaning of accounting and financial documents.</li>\n <li>Documents transactions and summarizes information.</li>\n <li>Modifies, maintains, or creates procedural documentation.</li>\n <li>Participates in reconciliations and in maintaining data accuracy.</li>\n <li>May audit contracts, orders, vouchers, and prepare reports to corroborate transactions prior to settlement.</li>\n <li>May assist construction managers, project managers, and estimators with information requests and perform special projects as assigned.</li>\n <li>Maintains awareness of accounting best practices and of internal control procedures while assisting in the coordination and monitoring of compliance.</li>\n <li>Assists team in other ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as necessary.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li>\n <li>3+ years of construction accounting experience</li>\n <li>Experience in a heavy/civil construction environment is a plus</li>\n <li>Familiarity with multiple software including CMIC & Microsoft Office</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Our Company Does Work That Matters</strong></p>\n<p>Allan Myers is a leading self-performing heavy civil construction and construction materials company with a strategic network of offices, quarries and asphalt plants covering the Mid-Atlantic from New Jersey to Virginia Beach.
