    "description": "<p>US Heart and Vascular is in search a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ. This position offers a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, competitive compensation and sign on bonus to the candidate interested in joining an amazing team.&nbsp;<br />\n&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results</li>\n\t<li>Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculate doses, and administers doses, under direction of Physician</li>\n\t<li>Performs diagnostic studies on patients as prescribed by Physician, using scanner or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film</li>\n\t<li>Measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers and scintillation detectors</li>\n\t<li>Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials</li>\n\t<li>Maintains quality control of all equipment</li>\n\t<li>Safeguard the privacy of patient health information</li>\n\t<li>Attends required meetings</li>\n\t<li>Performs related work as required</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills</li>\n\t<li>Work well in a team environment as well as independently when necessary&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology</li>\n\t<li>Must be registered with ARRT or NMTCB</li>\n\t<li>PET experience is preferred but not required</li>\n\t<li>BLS/CPR Certification</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>About Tucson, AZ:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n\n<p>Located in Pima county, Tucson is considered the soul of the Sonoran Desert and the flavor of the Southwest, making it a hotspot for outdoor enthusiasts.
