This role performs precision alignment, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair work to support safe, reliable plant operations. These are union positions covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the United Steelworkers.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong> Including but not limited to the following:</span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment (e.g., rolling mills, furnaces, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment).</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and related components.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, and part replacement, in line with work orders and PM schedules.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, and schematics to support equipment installation and repair.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Safely rig, move, and position equipment; operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as required.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Follow all safety policies and procedures and work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support safe, reliable operations.</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>: No</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
