This role leverages a working knowledge of manufacturing best practices, and technical knowledge (industrial equipment and automation) to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency. The position works closely with production, maintenance, safety, and quality teams to maximize the value of installed assets.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5+ years of manufacturing or project engineering experience</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong lean manufacturing understanding</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Working knowledge of industrial automation systems, including Fanuc robots.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial controls.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to interpret schematics and analyze equipment data.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Hands-on, plant-floor mindset.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Effective communication and project management.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyze and optimize performance of production lines.</li><li>Identify and implement improvements to increase uptime, reduce cycle time, and improve OEE.</li><li>Troubleshoot automation-related issues with Maintenance and Controls teams.</li><li>Coordinate with OEMs or integrators for system modifications.</li><li>Lead process improvement initiatives focused on throughput, yield, and scrap reduction.</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Manage small-to-mid-sized capital and improvement projects.</li><li>Define scope, cost estimates, and coordinate execution.</li><li>Provide day-to-day engineering support to production teams.</li><li>Develop SOPs and troubleshooting guides.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Plant-based role in a heavy industrial steel tube manufacturing facility.
