Associate Director of Snowflake Platform Engineering to lead the design, scalability, and reliability of DTCC’s enterprise data platform.</span></p>\n<p><span>This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will drive the evolution of Snowflake capabilities across mission-critical applications—enabling innovation, strengthening platform resiliency, and delivering data solutions at enterprise scale.</span></p>\n<p><span>You will partner with global engineering teams to modernize the platform, optimize performance, and champion best practices in cloud data engineering.</span></p>\n<p><span><b>Your Primary Responsibilities</b>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Own and evolve the enterprise Snowflake platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and stability</span></li>\n <li><span>Drive platform innovation, including evaluation, integration, and rollout of new Snowflake features</span></li>\n <li><span>Lead reliability engineering initiatives, ensuring robust disaster recovery, backup, and resiliency strategies</span></li>\n <li><span>Automate platform deployment and operations using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools</span></li>\n <li><span>Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline Snowflake development and operational workflows</span></li>\n <li><span>Partner with application teams to enable seamless onboarding, integration, and optimal platform utilization</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide expert-level (L3) support, troubleshooting and resolving complex platform issues</span></li>\n <li><span>Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architecture aligned with enterprise standards</span></li>\n <li><span>Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and training materials to support global teams</span></li>\n <li><span>Collaborate across global teams (US and offshore) to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions</span></li>\n <li><span>Act as a trusted advisor and SME, guiding best practices for Snowflake implementation and optimization</span></li>\n <li><span>Partner with Snowflake and external vendors to resolve issues and continuously enhance platform capabilities</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><b>Qualifications</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience</span></li>\n <li><span>8+ years of relevant experience in data platform, cloud, or database engineering</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><b>Talent Needed for Success</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Deep expertise in Snowflake platform engineering and administration (must-have)</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong foundation in data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern data ecosystems</span></li>\n <li><span>Proven experience in database administration and platform engineering</span></li>\n <li><span>Proficiency in Python and/or Bash/SQL scripting for automation</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket)</span></li>\n <li><span>Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong understanding of platform resiliency, disaster recovery, and backup strategies</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><b>&nbsp;Preferred</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core or advanced certifications)</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience integrating Snowflake with IAM/security frameworks (e.g., Entra ID, HashiCorp Snowflake</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience with Snowflake advanced capabilities (Snowpipe, Snowpark, streaming, Cortex AI)</span></li>\n <li><span>Familiarity with BI/analytics tools (Power BI,
