Using strategic thinking and analytical approach, the Business Architecture Associate will work closely with senior management and subject matter experts across Business, Technology, Operations, etc. to understand current-state pain-points and opportunities, create long-term vision and strategic plans, as well as define future-state business blueprints to deliver against them, with the objective of delivering best-in-class client experience, enhancing operational efficiency and improving risk &amp; resiliency.\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n <p><b>Your Primary Responsibilities:</b></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Develop understanding of each business division’s strategy, business model, operating model, processes, teams, and culture</li>\n  <li>Lead current-state analysis and strategic future-state reimagination of businesses, capabilities and process in support of DTCC’s multi-year modernization efforts</li>\n  <li>Apply analytical approach to tackle “ill structured” problems and justify recommendations</li>\n  <li>Work with other Business Architects to identify opportunities to develop cross-business capabilities</li>\n  <li>Work with automation teams to identify opportunities to use business automation tools (e.g., robotics, machine learning, aritificial intelligence) to improve businesses and processes</li>\n  <li>Synthesize analysis into clear recommendations and findings that add value</li>\n  <li>Work in partnership with Business Units, IT and other stakeholders to design and build sustainable solutions</li>\n  <li>Create effective working relationships with team members, business teams, and key subject matter experts</li>\n  <li>Foster a culture of entrepreneurship, innovation and Agile methodology</li>\n  <li>Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior</li>\n  <li>Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n <p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Minimum of 4 years of related experience</li>\n  <li>Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n <p><b>Talents Needed for Success:</b></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Experience in strategic and/or analytical roles and working with people in multi-functional teams</li>\n  <li>Ideally, prior experience in strategy consulting and/or banking, capital markets, or financial operations. Experience in product strategy and product development is also a plus</li>\n  <li>Understanding of banking / capital markets</li>\n  <li>Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
