If you enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and contributing to a team that maintains spaces where the community gathers, we encourage you to apply.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do</span></p>\n<p>As a Parks Maintenance Technician I, you will assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of the City’s parks and recreational facilities. Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate a variety of grounds maintenance equipment to maintain parks, athletic fields, courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, trails, and pavilions.</li>\n<li>Install and maintain flowerbeds, gardens, and landscaped areas.</li>\n<li>Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides while maintaining accurate application records.</li>\n<li>Inspect park grounds, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety and proper maintenance.</li>\n<li>Maintain and repair irrigation systems and wells.</li>\n<li>Perform general facility maintenance and repairs including carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical work.</li>\n<li>Maintain assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.</li>\n<li>Assist with maintenance of boardwalks, bridges, shelters, and other park structures.</li>\n<li>Support park maintenance for special events when required.</li>\n<li>Follow all department safety policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What We're Looking For</span></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining community spaces, and works well as part of a team.
