We care deeply about authentic faith, meaningful relationships, and forming disciples who follow Jesus in everyday life.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">We are looking for a full-time Pastor of Discipleship Ministries to lead and strengthen adult discipleship at Main Street, with a primary focus on Life Groups. This role equips and empowers leaders, helps people take meaningful next steps, and builds a culture of relational discipleship across the church.<br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What you will do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lead and develop our Life Groups ministry by coaching and supporting leaders and raising new leaders</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Cast vision and build momentum for Life Groups as a primary pathway for spiritual growth and connection at Main Street</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Create weekly small group discussion guides that align with Sunday teaching and encourage Scripture-based conversation.</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Oversee a healthy, volunteer-driven pastoral care ministry that reflects Christ-centred compassion</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Develop and lead classes and training that equip people to serve, share the gospel, and disciple others</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Be present and engaged on Sundays and in the life of the church</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Who you are</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">You love building leaders, investing in people, and helping others grow in their faith. You are relational, organized, and excited to serve as part of a collaborative pastoral team.<br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">A vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to pastoral ministry</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Alignment with the mission, vision, and theological values of Main Street Church</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">A Bachelor of Theology or equivalent formal theological degree (Master’s degree preferred)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Minimum of 10 years of pastoral ministry experience, with demonstrated leadership in discipleship and/or adult ministry</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Experience leading and developing Life Groups or similar small group discipleship models</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and support volunteer leaders</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Strong relational and pastoral skills with the ability to connect with people across all stages of faith</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Ability to cast vision and build momentum for discipleship pathways within a local church</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Effective communicator who can teach in group settings and create clear, engaging written resources</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Organized, self-motivated, and able to lead with wisdom, humility, and flexibility</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">A collaborative leader who thrives in a staff-led, volunteer-powered church culture</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Willingness to be present, engaged, and invested in the life of the church and wider community</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">If you are passionate about helping people grow in Christ, thrive in authentic community, and live on mission, we would love to connect with you.</span></p>",
