This role includes gathering relevant patient history, ensuring high-quality imaging, maintaining equipment, and supporting patient comfort and safety throughout the exam process.&nbsp;This position is PRN.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for performing all patient ultrasound imaging procedures.</li><li>Gathers patient history data and completes worksheets with exam findings for Radiologist.</li><li>Performs general upkeep and housekeeping of exam rooms.</li><li>Assists with imaging center workflow by helping with general duties as deemed necessary (burn discs with images etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>Complete patient workups prior to scheduled appointments, including obtaining prior records, preparing charts, and verifying that orders and diagnoses are accurate and complete.</li><li>Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, radiologists, and clinic staff</li><li>Train new Ultrasound technologists and/or support staff</li><li>Document patient cancellations and relevant updates in the patient chart</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>CHARACTERISTICS</strong></p><ul><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Maintains confidentiality and professionalism</li><li>Knowledge of infection control and clinical safety practices</li><li>Compassionate, patient-centered, and service-oriented</li><li>Organized, efficient, and able to multitask effectively&nbsp;</li></ul>",
