This includes conducting patient assessments, assisting with procedures, developing care plans, monitoring clinical outcomes, and promoting efficient and safe patient care.</p><p>Essential Duties / Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Assist with performing venous and arterial procedures under physician supervision.</li><li>Conduct patient interviews, perform physical examinations, and obtain and update medical histories.</li><li>Identify patient care needs and recommend appropriate treatment plans or interventions.</li><li>Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.</li><li>Perform histories, examinations, formulate differential diagnoses, and document findings.</li><li>Promote timely patient outcomes and efficient resource utilization.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and licensure requirements.</li><li>Monitor patient outcomes in alignment with established clinical standards.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Maintain and enhance professional knowledge through ongoing education and professional participation.</li><li>Perform quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.</li><li>Maintain professional interactions with staff, patients, and outside partners.</li><li>Work independently while coordinating care with supervising physicians and the clinical team.</li></ul><p>Required Skills / Abilities:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.</li><li>Ability to assist with venous, arterial, and endovascular procedures.</li><li>Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage patient flow and priorities.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a procedural environment.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards.</li><li>Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p>Education and Experience:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and 1 year of surgical experience required.</li><li>Endovascular experience preferred.</li><li>Current certification as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA (or successor).</li><li>Prescriptive authority or eligibility to apply within the first 6 months of employment.</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.</li></ul><p>*StrideCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion in our workforce.
