This includes activities of daily living and providing support for safety, health, and wellness. This position also assists program staff. The ideal candidate will establish, develop, and maintain respectful relationships with the people served.&nbsp; The Residential Aide will participate in maintaining a safe, harm-free environment for all residents.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide within the Women&#39;s Bridge program works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Requirements:</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High School Diploma / GED</li>\r\n\t<li>2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent</li>\r\n\t<li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li>\r\n\t<li>Regular and predictable attendance is required</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Orientation: </u></p>\r\n\r\n<p>If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Benefits:</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Medical, dental, vision benefits are offered along with other additional voluntary coverages with full time employment</li>\r\n\t<li>403(b) retirement plan with employer matching contribution</li>\r\n\t<li>Company paid short and long term disability and life insurance with full time employment</li>\r\n\t<li>Paid time off (vacation, personal and sick) with full time employment</li>\r\n\t<li>12 paid holidays</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><em>The Connection is a statewide human services and community development agency that provides unique solutions to the problems of homelessness, mental illness, substance use, improving child welfare and community justice rehabilitation.
