Seminole Electric will only consider candidates, who are currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time student pursuing a Bachelor&#39;s or Post Graduate degree at an accredited educational institution.***</span></strong></p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary Description</strong></p><p>Performs as a part of the Engineering &amp; Maintenance team and provide support related to planning studies and other planning duties, as well as support other engineering assignments requiring a basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals. &nbsp; Support the department&rsquo;s NERC compliance activities. &nbsp;Work on specific project initiatives, which contribute to the departmental success. &nbsp;</p><p>As a Cooperative Education Student within the Transmission &amp; Engineering Division, the candidate will participate in cross-training between the Transmission &amp; Project Services and Engineering &amp; Maintenance Groups.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements</strong></p><p>Candidate is required to be working towards a Bachelor&#39;s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent electrical program. &nbsp;Junior class standing with at least one semester of specialization core classes completed is required. Co-op students are expected to be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours per semester, maintain a 2.75 GPA, and work approximately 20 hours a week. Participates in the development of compliance workflows and processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Participates in the drafting of corporate procedures and other related technical documents.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepares and updates system documentation including transmission drawings/diagrams, equipment documentation and data, operating manuals, practices, and procedures.</li><li>Performs other duties as applicable to the position or as assigned.</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><strong>NERC Compliance</strong>: Performs NERC Compliance Program roles if/as designated in Seminole&#39;s Standard Ownership Matrix (SOM) including ongoing evidence retention in &quot;audit-ready&quot; form.
