In addition, you will:<br></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive the secure deployment and lifecycle management of Linux workstations, enterprise servers, and HPC clusters</li>\n<li>Eliminate manual toil by developing sophisticated automation scripts using Shell and Python</li>\n<li>Drive system consistency and rapid deployment using Ansible for configuration management and automation</li>\n<li>Maintain and push the performance limits of HPC clusters utilizing industry-leading tools like Bright, Slurm, and xCAT</li>\n<li>Author and maintain high-fidelity documentation for system configurations, operational playbooks, and strategic plans<br></li>\n<li>Configure and optimize Linux networking services to ensure seamless, high-bandwidth connectivity</li>\n<li>Modernize workflows by deploying and managing containerized environments using Docker, Podman, and Apptainer</li>\n<li>Implement and manage robust security layers, including advanced firewall configurations and fine-tuned SELinux policies</li>\n<li>Efficiently administer local and remote filesystems, ensuring data integrity and high-speed access across the network</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Other duties as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What experience, training, and education do I need?</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You must meet the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">minimum</span> requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Physics, or STEM</li>\n<li>Active DoD Top Secret with eligibility for SCI and a CI Scope Polygraph within 180 days</li>\n<li>Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility</li>\n<li>Active CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 SSCP, or equivalent baseline certification</li>\n<li>U.S. Citizenship: Required for clearance eligibility</li>\n<li>Extensive professional experience in Linux system administration (RHEL preferred)</li>\n<li>Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate hardware and software bottlenecks under pressure<br></li>\n<li>Strong critical thinking skills with a methodical approach to complex system challenges</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The following is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">preferred</span>:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced Certification: RHCE, RHCSA, or similar</li>\n<li>DevOps Skills: Advanced proficiency in Ansible, Python, and Bash for infrastructure-as-code environments</li>\n<li>Experience with container technologies (Docker/Podman) and scientific computing tools (Apptainer)</li>\n<li>Supercomputing: Hands-on experience tuning HPC clusters with Bright, Slurm, and/or xCAT</li>\n<li>Strong background in Linux networking and virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Where is the client site that I would be working for? </span>You will be working in Huntsville, AL.
