    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Tennis Channel is seeking an experienced <b>Senior Media Manager</b> to lead the acquisition, organization, and distribution of our media assets across all platforms both physical and digital. This role is central to our media operations, ensuring content flows seamlessly between production, post-production, marketing, digital, and external partners.</p>\n<p>As the Senior Media Manager, you’ll set the example for a team of media managers, champion best practices, and help shape the future of our media supply chain—including the transition to cloud-native workflows. If you're highly organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about media systems, this is for you.</p>\n<p>This role is onsite and based in Santa Monica, CA.</p>\n<p><b>In this role, you will:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead end-to-end media operations from ingest through archive, including metadata, deletion, and restores.</li>\n <li>Supervise media managers ensuring accurate ingest, cataloging, delivery, and metadata tagging &nbsp;for studio shows, streaming, remote productions, and partners.</li>\n <li>Drive Tennis Channel’s migration to a cloud-native media environment.</li>\n <li>Be the on-premise lead developing physical workflow for migrating LTO tapes to cloud.</li>\n <li>Manage file movement workflows, including transcoding, encoding, metadata entry, and troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Stay ahead of industry trends in file-based technologies, formats, and workflows.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Engineering and Production on physical hardward and software system maintenance and workflow optimization.</li>\n <li>Support content delivery across departments—Production, Marketing, Digital, Sales, and third-party vendors.</li>\n <li>Train and support media team and ingest personnel to ensure consistent workflows.</li>\n <li>Provide NLE troubleshooting and manage editing projects (original programming, promos, matches, etc.).</li>\n <li>Maintain onsite hardware inventory, including SD cards, LTO archive, and hard drives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>7+ years in media asset management or related field</li>\n <li>Strong experience with cloud production/post workflows and cloud migration</li>\n <li>Expert-level proficiency with Avid tools: Interplay, Media Composer, Nexis, Fast Serve, Media Central UX, etc</li>\n <li>Avid Interplay administrator experience</li>\n <li>Ability to work onsite in Santa Monica, California to maintain physical inventory of drives, LTO tapes, and trouble shoot NLE physical hardware</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud</li>\n <li>Experience with MAM systems (e.g., Mimir), Telestream, Kumulate, and Signiant</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge of codecs, wrappers, and transcode workflows</li>\n <li>Experience in sports media is a plus; knowledge of tennis and pickleball, is a bonus!</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Tennis Channel is proud to be equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
