This position qualifies for our discretionary quarterly bonuses and our full benefits package!</span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">The Nurse Technician holds a safety sensitive position and is a competent paraprofessional which assists the registered nurses by assuming responsibility and accountability for direct and indirect patient care. He/she may assist with activities, personal care, comfort measures, maintenance of a safe and clean environment, and certain test/procedures done to a specific patient population (dependent on area) under the direction and supervision of a RN. Supports the nursing and medical staff in an effort to provide optimum patient outcomes.</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">What&rsquo;s required of you? High school graduate or equivalent. Maintains current competency as a Nurse Technician as outlined in the department&rsquo;s competency program. Basic Life Support certification prior to start date, or class to be taken at OSH within 60 days free of charge.</span></li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\" id=\"isPasted\">Occupational Experience: Zero to six months prior to experience as a Nurse Aide in a healthcare environment, or completion of a Nurse Aide or EMT training program preferred.</span></li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Specialty Knowledge Skills: Cognitive, technical and interpersonal skills required to deliver direct and indirect care under the direction of a RN.
