    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">About This Role:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Cardinal Civil Resources is currently looking for an employee with high integrity and excellent attention to detail to fill a position as a Survey Field Technician – Instrument Operator. Travel will be required from time to time at different job sites. You must be familiar with all surveying techniques used for pipeline surveying.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Responsibilities:</span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">As a Survey Field Technician, you will:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Work in group environments</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Work within defined project scopes and budgets</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Ensure Safety and Health are the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes. Acting safely at all times</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Participate in or conduct and document safety meetings with the crew daily. Host or assist with morning safety meetings. Bring safety and proper working procedure topics up as reminders and ensure all workers are comfortable with the tasks assigned to them by reviewing their day plan</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Mentor less experienced employees and train them in proper company standards as well as ensure more experienced employees are helping to mentor green workers in proper company standards</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Maintains digital files on assigned computer equipment to assure use of correct and current data files</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Operate electronic total station instrument run and adjust survey measuring instruments, including level, transit, theodolite, electronic measuring devices, and total stations with electronic data collecting capabilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Take field notes of readings and observations</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Operate and maintain vehicle and field equipment</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Know and perform field principles of staking and marking</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Perform other related field and office duties as assigned</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Work primarily in the field on control, topographic surveys, and pipeline surveys as Instrument Man/Rodman of one, two, or three-person field crew</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Cut and remove brush and undergrowth for a line of sight </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Reads and understands plans and specifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Know basic sources of measurement errors</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Dig ground using a pick, shovel, and other hand tools to search for and locate survey monuments </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Hold and plum rod in obtaining elevations and distances</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Drive stakes to set grades on construction projects</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Provide solutions to civil site design challenges</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Topographical surveys</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Boundary surveys</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Well connect pipelines surveys</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Pipeline route staking</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Establish and recover survey control and monumentation, perform construction layout, obtain sewer invert and subsurface utility information and photo documentation of the project area</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION:</span> A high school education or equivalent is required, including a background in math, geometry, and trigonometry.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EXPERIENCE:</span> Land Surveying experience   </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">KNOWLEDGE OF:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Controlling the function of surveying instruments and calculators</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Proficiency in the use of total stations, GPS Receivers, and data collectors</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Possess good interpersonal skills and effective written and oral communication skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Analyzing site plans, project plans, blueprints, maps, and charts. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">ABILITIES:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Must be able and willing to travel daily.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Must have good written and verbal communication skills. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Must have essential requirements: professionalism, punctuality, and reliability. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">·        Must possess strong attention to detail and an intense level of accuracy.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be able to work in inclement weather</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must have Reliable Transportation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Background Check and Drug Testing Required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;
