    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Seeking Summer Youth Program Assistant to join our Lockport Corps</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Seasonal opportunities offer Sick time</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION</strong>:</p>\n<p>To assist the youth ministries coordinator in implementing the summer program including day camp, VBS, Carnival, and Camp Long Point.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p>Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist the Youth Ministries Coordinator in running the daily operations summer programing including day camp, vacation bible school, carnival and Long Point Camp preparations.</li>\n <li>Maintain a safe environment for children and volunteers</li>\n <li>Instruct children in religious curriculum, sports and recreational activities, crafts, music, games, and other activities</li>\n <li>Maintain communication with Officers, volunteers, staff, parents and community members encouraging their involvement and feedback on program activities.</li>\n <li>Maintain daily records including Salvation Army Statistics and SFSP requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Duties: </strong>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
