    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><em><strong>Relocation Assistance Provided</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a Registered Mechanical Process Engineer for our Albany, GA branch location. Will function as a hands-on engineer providing manufacturing/process engineering expertise for project design, commissioning, and start-up. Candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in industrial engineering project execution and a strong working knowledge of manufacturing and process plant environments.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Requires local travel to client site (mileage to/from office is reimbursed) for meetings, field inspections, and startup. Longer trips/overnight visits are required occasionally.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Produce layout and manufacturing drawings following acceptable Engineering and Manufacturing Standards.</li>\n <li>Provide technical design support for Project Leader.</li>\n <li>Supervise and train designers and design teams as required.</li>\n <li>Understand project's scope, schedule, and budgetary restraints and work within them.</li>\n <li>Participate in and lead internal & external design reviews including interrelationships of other disciplines.</li>\n <li>Follow established project controls procedures.</li>\n <li>Prepare formal project control forms, i.e., transmittals, drawing requests, etc.</li>\n <li>Communicate directly with the client in all aspects of the project.</li>\n <li>Will be responsible for managing their own jobs.</li>\n <li>Will coordinate work with a designer for projects that include: process, machine upgrades, piping, utilities, etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to understand and create Process and Instrument Diagram (P&ID) drawings.</li>\n <li>Capable of designing Machine components, HVAC, Piping, Steam and Compressed Air handling and distribution. </li>\n <li>Capable of determining total design requirements for the purpose of estimating and managing projects including schedules and budgets, accurately tracks and records cost spent on various project tasks.</li>\n <li>Understand project scope, able to define scope changes with client. </li>\n <li>Capable of directing Designers, Cad Operators, Technicians, and other Engineers as required. Capable of training others.</li>\n <li>Capable of interfacing with construction supervisors at job sites.</li>\n <li>Total project design requirement including Field site equipment audits, marking up of existing drawings, creation of project scope documents, start-up procedures as well as on-site start-up and de-bug as well as operator training where necessary. </li>\n <li>Paper making and/or paper converting experience a plus.</li>\n <li>Basic AutoCAD skills preferred.</li>\n <li>3D CAD proficiency is a plus.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree – Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.</li>\n <li>PE License – State of GA preferred and other states as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to climb ladders, walk over crossovers, and access equipment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb caged personnel ladder.</li>\n <li>Must be capable of walking the distance from parking lot to designated job area (may be 1 mile+), in addition to walking throughout a large manufacturing plant during course of day for required meetings and other required duties.</li>\n</ul>",
