You will support the mission by collecting, processing, and selling donated goods to customers at our retail stores and donation centers. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in quality work, enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and want to be part of something bigger than just a job, making a real difference in the community every day.</p>\n\n<p><strong>PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES</strong></p>\n\n<p><u><strong>Floor Responsibilities</strong></u></p>\n\n<p>&middot; Serve as a role model and instructor in the subject of &ldquo;work&rdquo; for individuals receiving training or job placement assistance through Goodwill. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and passion for quality.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Greet and assist customers with merchandise selection.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Operate the store&rsquo;s cash register in compliance with company policies and procedures.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Close out assigned cash drawer at the end of the shift and balance cash amounts.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Ensure excellent customer service and direct complaints to the appropriate personnel.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Rotate merchandise from the sales floor as instructed, accurately recording rotation numbers.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Assist in display setup and merchandise presentation on the sales floor.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Maintain store cleanliness and organization according to company standards.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Cross-train in other workstations as needed.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.</p>\n\n<p><u><strong>Production Responsibilities</strong></u></p>\n\n<p>&middot; Be an instructor in the subject of &ldquo;work&rdquo; for individuals participating in Goodwill training or job placement programs, leading by example through a positive attitude and strong work ethic.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Greet and assist donors, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Pre-sort donations into appropriate categories and workstations.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Assess the quality of merchandise and prepare acceptable items for the sales floor.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Remove and dispose of unsellable items according to company procedures.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading donation trailers.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Accurately record production and rotation numbers.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Maintain safety standards and ensure a secure working environment.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Provide excellent donor relations and escalate concerns to the appropriate personnel.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Rotate merchandise from the sales floor as required.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with company standards.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Cross-train in other workstations as needed.</p>\n\n<p>&middot; Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.</p>\n",
