Whenever accuracy, safety, security and reliability are critical, the solutions of Safran Electronics &amp; Defense leads the way.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Position: </span></p>\n<p>The Logistics Operator is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of parts and materials throughout all stages of the manufacturing process. This role includes coordinating and executing shipping activities, such as preparing, packaging, and dispatching finished goods in accordance with established procedures and delivery schedules. The Logistics Operator is also accountable for export compliance, including the accurate preparation and filing of export documentation through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements.</p>\n<p>This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow and serves as a key liaison between production, logistics, and shipping functions to support efficient operations and on-time delivery.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Day to Day: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Systematically receive raw materials using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system</li>\n<li>Prepare, package, and label finished goods for shipment following company and customer requirements.</li>\n<li>Coordinate outbound shipments, including scheduling pickups with carriers and ensuring on-time dispatch.</li>\n<li>Generate and process shipping documentation (e.g., packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels).</li>\n<li>File export documentation through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system in compliance with U.S. export regulations.</li>\n<li>Verify accuracy of shipments, including part numbers, quantities, and documentation prior to release.</li>\n<li>Perform physical inventory counts.</li>\n<li>Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of materials to prevent damage or loss.</li>\n<li>Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve material or shipment issues.</li>\n<li>Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.</li>\n<li>Maintain organized work areas and support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations.</li>\n<li>\n</li></ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you Bring to Safran: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2-3 years of experience.</li>\n<li>Experience with SAP ByDesign and ACE/AES for export filings (preferred)</li>\n<li>Experience with Fedex/UPS software/applications.</li>\n<li>Well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite</li>\n<li>Ability to read, interpret and follow directions with a strong attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize work accordingly along with working independently with little direction.</li>\n<li>A proactive mindset and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow.</li>\n<li>Ability to perform common warehouse tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs, standing for long periods of time, conformance to proper PPE requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Visit our <a href=\"https://safran-navigation-timing.com/navigation-and-timing/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website</a> for more information or check out our videos on <a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/@SafranNT/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube </a> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Safran Electronics &amp; Defense, you’ll combine passion for your job with a quality work environment adapted to a good life balance.
