Our comprehensive customer services span from estimates, design, fabrication, installation, all the way to close-out.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The Role:</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">We are looking for an experienced Duct/Piping Estimator </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">responsible for providing complete, accurate, well defined, and timely estimates. This candidate will meet the needs of internal/external customers and achieve total customer satisfaction. </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> The Estimator is responsible for ensuring that all estimates are executed in accordance with the company's policies. These include contract documents, budget, schedule, safety, quality control and customer satisfaction.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Estimate all assigned projects, ensuring that take-off's, labor factors and material pricing is accurate and in compliance with Mechanical Solutions, Inc's latest estimating process</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Call for special material pricing, equipment quotes, and subcontractor quotes as necessary to support an estimate with current cost information</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Clarify with general contractor, architect, owner, or engineer any discrepancies as they relate to the drawings or specifications; </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required content of estimate; </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Prepare disciplined estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Determine general conditions, fabrication costs, crew rates, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Prepare final estimate sheets and bid forms as required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on pricing from suppliers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Participate in pre-construction meetings and relays all pertinent information to the project manager and purchasing.
