    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Schedule: This is a PRN position between 6:00am- 6:00pm</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>Location: This position will support Rehab Services at the following locations:</u></strong></p><ul><li><strong><u>Morgan Hospital</u></strong></li><li><strong><u>Bloomington Hospital</u></strong></li><li><strong><u>Bedford Hospital</u></strong></li><li><strong><u>Paoli Hospital</u></strong></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>This position oversees patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensures timely, accurate and professional services.&nbsp;</li><li>This position is responsible for timely and accurate resolution of patient’s accounts. &nbsp;</li><li>Responsibilities may include but are not limited to obtaining specific information to generate accurate financial and demographic records, insurance verification, prior authorization, and coordination of benefits. &nbsp;</li><li>Communicates with payers and patients to achieve accurate financial information. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for accurate registration of patients, scheduling recurring &nbsp;appointments, answers incoming calls and directs patient and visitors appropriately. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Participates in operational aspects of the department and maintains performance improvement activities as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Participates in all infection control, department equipment training, regulatory compliance, organizational safety and fire safety programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Orders, distributes and maintains designated and appropriate inventory of department related supplies. &nbsp;</li><li>The position adheres to departmental productivity, quality and service standards in support of operational goals.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma/GED is required.</li><li>0-3 years Customer Service/Medical experience desired.</li><li>Minimum one-year medical office experience or combination of extensive customer service work experience and education in insurance verification, patient registration and medical terminology preferred.</li><li>Requires basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS)</li></ul>",
