The operator will be responsible for the day-to-day cutting production and maintenance of the Zund cutting table.</p><ul><li><em><strong>2nd Shift: 2PM-10PM</strong></em></li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Read and understand job tickets. Use job ticket information to ensure production is produced according to specification</li><li>Perform quality checks according to established procedures to ensure high quality of production</li><li>Monitor machine efficiencies & speed to ensure production levels meet or exceed standards & make appropriate adjustments</li><li>Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures</li><li>Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to set up and operate a digital cutting table such as Zund, Kongsberg or Gerber</li><li>Working knowledge of digital, offset, and large format printing processes</li><li>A strong attention to detail and focus on quality</li><li>Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision</li><li>Able to multi task well, remain organized, and handle many projects at one time</li><li>Hard-working, assertive, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment</li><li>Mechanically inclined and production oriented</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization</li><li>Ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality products</li><li>Must be able to read a tape measure and basic computer skills</li><li>Able to stand for long periods of time</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds</li><li>Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications – Education, Experience, License/Certifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of one years of digital cutting or printing industry experience</li><li>High School Diploma</li></ul><p>  </p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><p>The base compensation range for this full-time position is $18.00-$23.00 per hour plus benefits.
