About Us Casa de Montecristo gives the adult cigar consumer the premier cigar experience, featuring large selections of premium cigars, modern lounges, walk-in humidors and full bars across the multiple locations in the United States. Overview The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager partners with the F&B Manager, blending business acumen and operational knowledge to drive business results and deliver a stellar guest experience while building a high-performing team. Responsibilities Achieves overall sales, KPI and profit goals of his/ her assigned location. Manages day to day operations of the restaurant, bar and lounge as an on-the-floor leader. Performs all functions and ensures employees are effective at executing corporate initiatives in a timely, efficient and resource-wise manner. Delegates tasks appropriately and holds team accountable. Models and ensures all Casa de Montecristo policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are communicated effectively to employees, maintained and consistently followed. Ensure compliance to all state and local regulations. Maintains a comfortable, responsible and safe environment. Analyzes bar and restaurant reporting to identify opportunities and implements plans to increase topline overall sales and profitability through product education, events, party bookings and outside partnerships. Partners with entire leadership team to ensure all expenses and product/ food costs are in line to achieve positive store contribution and are within the set budget objectives. Assists F&B Manager to recruit, train and lead a team of top performing associates. Challenges and inspires others to achieve and execute sales driving initiatives. Monitors and manages store staffing levels proactively and according to the needs of the business. Provides coaching in the moment and performance feedback to employees Acts as an ambassador for the brand within his/her market. Active participant in local networking, marketing, events and activities. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, across the organization. Maintains visual and cleanliness standards to support the brand image. Demonstrates an energetic, persistent and professional demeanor. Other duties as assigned by the F&B Manager. Smoking environment Qualifications Needs to have bar and liquor experience. Needs to understand cost of goods and how to calculate food and beverage selling (price, inventory control, and cost reduction.) Ambitious self-starter, adept at leading through others to consistently deliver superior results. A track record of motivating and inspiring a team of individuals to meet challenging standards. Desire to develop oneself and others. Seeks and delivers constructive feedback. Demonstrated flexibility and emotional intelligence to confront frequently changing business conditions with energy and accountability. Strategic planning and execution skills. High attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Uses data to make informed decisions with pace. Understands the big picture and demonstrates good judgement to best serve the business. Excels in time management and multitasking. Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Natural communicator with a strong executive presence. Known to build relationships both inside and outside the organization.
