With our Theme Park, Hotels, Mini-Land and more - the opportunities here at our BRAND NEW LEGOLAND our endless. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>\n<p>Safety is paramount in everything we do. This role is part of the facilities team, which is an integral part of our Technical Services department. As a member of the facilities team, you will play a major role in the success of our resort and have one of the most important responsibilities throughout the park. You must always provide and guarantee a fun and safe environment for our guest with a focus on safety, ensuring that our rides are inspected, maintained and repaired to the highest levels possible.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications & Experience</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Keep Safety as #1 priority.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect, repair, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, lighting systems and power distribution systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Diagnoses and replaces damaged or broken wire, cables, malfunctioning and faulty electrical apparatus such as: transformers, motors, panels, relays, switches, outlets, position sensing devices.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Installs power supply wiring and conduit for new/relocated rides, animated attractions, building equipment and systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Tests and replaces faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards in rides, attractions and equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Responds to emergency calls to repair theme park attractions and rides to maintain the safety and comfort of guests and MCs.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates equipment such as torches, grinders, drill presses, conduit benders, voltmeters, phase sequence indicators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc..</li>\n <li>Respond to any other various duties as directed by your manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About You</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience as a journeyman electrician.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of circuits, voltages and amperes used for assigned work is required.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires a demonstrated flexibility to handle a wide range of highly complex and challenging duties throughout the theme park, with extreme care, focused attention and skillful precision.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires the ability to use a full range of measuring devices and power tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic math skills are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow National Electrical Code state and stays abreast of governmental, state and local regulations, including OSHA</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Have a positive attitude and a love for FUN!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Who We Are</strong></p>\n<p>We're part of the Merlin Entertainments family - linking us to iconic brands such as Madame Tussauds, The London Eye, SEA LIFE and much more!</p>\n<p>Here at LEGOLAND New York Resort We thrive on innovative thinking and big ideas!!!
