The Opportunity: Join Glumac’s Southern Region as a Project Manager and take the lead on impactful technical projects in a fast-paced, high-demand market. Position Summary: As a Project Manager, you will oversee project financials, schedules, staffing, and execution from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical or electrical engineering background who wants to grow their leadership impact while managing meaningful work and building long-term client relationships. Lead project scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day execution Coordinate with clients, design teams, and cross-functional partners Monitor progress against milestones and proactively address risks and issues Maintain strong communication across all project stakeholders Support and uphold quality control processes Help drive backlog growth and revenue performance Build and strengthen client relationships to encourage repeat work Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent relevant experience 5+ years of experience in project management or a related technical leadership role Background in mechanical or electrical engineering Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and team coordination Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to commute easily to Glumac’s office Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience managing roughly $1M+ in annual project work Experience in the AEC industry Healthcare market experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to lead with a big-picture mindset and strong client presence Work Environment and Location: This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a requirement of two in-office days per week in our Irvine, CA office. All candidates must be located in and eligible to work in the U.S. Compensation: Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 (depending on experience) The base salary range represents the low and high end of the compensation scale for this role. Actual salaries will be determined based on location, experience, responsibilities, and qualifications. This salary range is just one component of Glumac’s total compensation package, which includes benefits, professional development opportunities, and additional incentives.
