If you feel like this would be a good fit for your personality and career ambition, we encourage you to apply!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the facility: </span>The Youth Support Program is located in all LLRIB Health Services, Clinics and is part of the Cultural Program located in La Ronge, Morin’s Hill.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the position:</span> Youth Support Worker will assist children and youth developing life skills, social skills and/or access to community resources. Providing individual care and guidance. The candidate will work with the Prevention &amp; Recovery and Cultural staff in the communities, with youth, community members, and health care professional workers.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties:</span><br>• Increasing awareness and understanding of issues among First Nations youth;<br>• Willingness to contribute in thoughtful and innovative ways to development and implementation of awareness and prevention;<br>• Assist in organizing a committee in each community and engaging youth to discuss relevant issues and concerns;<br>• Participate in developing youth planning in each community;<br>• Assist P&amp;R and Cultural team/program in facilitating grief workshops;<br>• Inspire youth to live a healthy lifestyle;<br>• Attend Meetings, case conferences and trainings as required;<br>• Other duties as assigned by supervisor &amp;/or designate<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span><br>• Grade 12 or combination of education and relevant experience may be considered<br>• Strong organizational skills &amp; able to multitask;<br>• Experience in facilitating groups, public speaking, presentations and writing reports;<br>• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team;<br>• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends;<br>• Ability to speak/understand Cree and/or knowledge of Cree culture is an asset;<br>• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office;<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;<br>• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening;<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">• Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License;</span></span></p>",
