This is an exciting opporunity to join the new Howard Hanson Dam project for the WA District!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Bring your diverse ideas to build stronger, more resilient communities.​</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Apply now and transform your career with us.</p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual financial reports, together with the yearend, audit schedules, cost reports and reconciliations and management reports.</li>\n <li>Provides financial analysis and interprets financial data and statements in order to make recommendations to management. </li>\n <li>Assures that subordinate ledgers reconcile with the general ledger in a timely and accurate manner. </li>\n <li>Assists with updating budgets and cost controls including cost allocations to departments or project segments.</li>\n <li>Provides documentation supporting the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.</li>\n <li>Ensures adherence to financial policies, procedures and internal controls.</li>\n <li>Manages the accounts payable and accounts receivable along with the associated payment and collection efforts and detailed records.</li>\n <li>Manages the company accounts, check preparations and obtaining authorized signatures.</li>\n <li>Assists in managing project and/or District asset inventories and District payroll.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years finance experience or training in the construction industry required. </li>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting preferred. </li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. </li>\n <li>Verbal, written and presentation skills.</li>\n <li>Management skills required.
