If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Deliver water resources, water supply planning, and reuse projects in Florida. </li>\n <li>Perform work on water resources studies, water supply feasibility studies, integrated water supply plans, one water plans and programs, conservation plans, and water reuse studies </li>\n <li>Calculations and analyses of water supplies and demands, conducting alternatives analyses, and documenting results </li>\n <li>Application of hydraulic, hydrologic, or hydrogeologic modeling systems to support the planning and design of related infrastructure, such as: pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization techniques, rapid infiltration systems, storage and treatment facilities, wellfields, and other natural and manmade systems.</li>\n <li>Hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, report writing, and other activities needed to support the planning, design, and integration of water supply and water management facilities.</li>\n <li>Understanding and application of water supply planning, demand management, alternatives analysis, and feasibility studies for small to large water supply projects of moderate complexity.</li>\n <li>Collaboration with other engineering disciplines, designers, and scientists.</li>\n <li>Some travel may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering</li>\n <li>15+ years of water resources projects</li>\n <li>Registration as a Professional Engineer </li>\n <li>Must have demonstrated experience with managing and designing medium- to large-sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards</li>\n <li>Ability to evaluate progress of staff and results obtained, and recommends major changes to achieve overall objectives</li>\n <li>Demonstrate creative, foresight and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering problems</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team</li>\n <li>Deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints</li>\n <li>Familiar with a broad range of issues related to wastewater and reuse systems, including master planning, conveyance, with an emphasis on treatment plant design. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of structural and geotechnical design concepts, analytical laboratory techniques and familiarity with codes and regulation related to drinking water</li>\n <li>Work well in a team environment</li>\n <li>Proficient in public speaking roles</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Word and Excel</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM, Groundwater Vistas).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>\n<p>An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</p>\n<h2>Other Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
