Description Intercultural Student Engagement Liaison - Summer/Fall 2026 The UMA Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services (OASIS) is seeking an Intercultural Student Engagement Liaison to support navigation of resources promoting engagement and success, and to support Student Life. The liaison works across departments to promote persistence among students of all backgrounds who may face challenges in the higher education environment. This position serves as the primary point of contact for OASIS and Student Life. In addition to supporting intentional engagement opportunities and organizing events, the liaison facilitates departmental purchases and contracts in collaboration with other departments. Anticipated start date for this position is July 6, 2026. Complete job description Qualifications: Required: University degree or related combination of education and experience Experience in intercultural environments Preferred: Record keeping and purchasing experience Experience in a university student services setting Skills: Organizational abilities Ability to plan and execute community events, some at a large scale Ability to work as part of a team Ability to provide exemplary customer service Ability to interpret and explain university and federal regulations and policies Adept at working in multicultural environments Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities Ability to successfully maintain confidentiality Salary: The hiring salary is in the mid-40s to low 50s range, is commensurate with education and experience, and will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion.
