They will ensure the proper function of the gas storage and distribution equipment while upholding a safe work environment.<br><br><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>Install equipment for bulk and micro bulk tank distribution systems</li><li>Perform maintenance repairs on all bulk and micro bulk tanks and ancillary equipment ensuring good working conditions</li><li>Troubleshoot, calibrate, service and repair a variety of equipment problems</li><li>Conduct site surveys for cryogenic systems</li><li>Prepare and complete all required documentation for installations and inspections to maintain compliance</li><li>Respond to service requests in a timely manner</li><li>Install low to medium pressure process piping inside customer facilities</li><li>Understanding of material capability</li><li>Provide support to customers regarding best equipment for their project needs</li><li>Maintain communication across all departments providing cryogenic support for all locations</li><li>Support the EOS/Traction process by attending and participating in L-10 meetings</li></ul><b>Other Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor</li><li>Work closely with Plant Managers to ensure Plant fill equipment are fully operational</li></ul><b>Education, Experience and Skills:</b><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalency, Technical College degree or equivalent is preferred</li><li>2+ years of previous plumbing or other relevant technical experience</li><li>2+ years of cryogenic system equipment experience is preferred</li><li>Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding application, and equipment is an asset</li><li>Skilled in working with electricity and electrical components</li><li>Strong mechanical ability</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing</li><li>Operate, use, and train others on all equipment and machines</li><li>Must be able to interpret equipment diagrams and complete necessary documents for projects</li><li>Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Must possess a valid Class D Driver’s License to travel to customer sites</li><li>Strong team player that excels working independently</li></ul><br><b>Equipment Used:</b><ul><li>Company vehicle will be provided to perform necessary travel for the job</li><li>Forklift, man lift, ladder, two-wheel dollies and liquid cart</li><li>Office equipment and computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and ERP Software</li><li>Various power and handheld tools, such as grinders, impact wrenches drills, flow meters, amp clamps, engine compressor, electrical testing equipment, etc.</li><li>Safety shoes and safety glasses required; gloves, hearing protection, and welding gear when applicable</li></ul>Who is OSC?<p>OSC is an industrial distribution company that has been providing solutions for our customer’s gas, welding and automation needs since 1959.
