The businesses are located around the UK and Ireland and include manufacturing and warehousing sites. A number of businesses also provide off-site services to customers.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We now have a new and exciting opportunity to become a part of the Health &amp; Safety support to Origin Living Landscapes as a Health &amp; Safety Coordinator.  The position is a roving role working directly for the Health &amp; Safety Manager.  The core responsibility of the role will be coordination and provision of Health &amp; Safety training which will require periods spent travelling and delivering support at our business locations,</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic capable of working independently and as part of a team holding a can-do attitude with a strong ability to communicate effectively both in person and through online media with employees at all levels.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The wide ranging and interesting position at its core is about providing support and assisting management level positions in ensuing Health &amp; Safety and other related training aspects are tracked, maintained and delivered. The role offers a fantastic ‘first’ step opportunity on the ladder for a focused Health and Safety career with the company keen to develop new talent and support their professional development.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role is Home Based with extensive travel within the UK, as and when required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Main Responsibilities </em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain the training database/software and provide reports on training indicators.</li>\n<li>Liaise with business managers around the UK with regards to the general training requirements and those specific to locations.</li>\n<li>Coordinate the use of 3rd party training organisations where required.</li>\n<li>Develop and provide on-site training (e.g. Manual Handling training).</li>\n<li>Support all businesses in providing new employees induction training relevant to their roles.</li>\n<li>Assist the H&amp;S Team, where required, in providing on-site support.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent people skills with the ability to develop a rapport with individuals and groups.</li>\n<li>The ability to deliver training packages to audiences of any size in person or across online media.</li>\n<li>Willing to travel and spend a significant part of the working week away from home.</li>\n<li>Full clean Driving Licence.</li>\n<li>Desire to undertake further qualifications in H&amp;S and training provision.</li>\n<li>IT literate including use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to a high standard.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualification in Health &amp; Safety (IOSH, ROSPA, NEBOSH Cert).</li>\n<li>Experience in Health &amp; Safety (including Safety Rep).</li>\n<li>Experience in Environmental / Sustainability Practices</li>\n<li>Qualifications or experience in training provision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Values &amp; Behaviours</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">People</span>: <em>We operate locally but act as one Company.
