    "description_html": "<p>NOTE: This position is assigned to the Rehabilitation Clinic in Monroe</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>Administration of physical therapy services/procedures according to clinic policies and procedures.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- ESSENTIAL:</strong></p><p>This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks</p><p>performed by positions in this class. It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all of</p><p>the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.</p><p>•</p><p>Evaluates patients utilizing appropriate tests and measurements to determine the physical therapy problem/level of function and the recommended treatment/discharge plan.</p><p>•</p><p>Promotes and has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patient care protocol relating to the physical,</p><p>psychosocial, and developmental needs for neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patient.</p><p>•</p><p>Establishes physical therapy interventions based upon the evaluation and examination, physician orders, and patients goals for therapy.</p><p>•</p><p>Competently performs appropriate physical therapy techniques and procedures.</p><p>•</p><p>Provides for continuity of patient care through written and verbal communication with other health care</p><p>professionals.</p><p>•</p><p>Makes recommendations for needed patient care equipment prior to patient discharge and assists with acquisition of same as appropriate.</p><p>•</p><p>Documents findings, patient progress, and all procedures performed within established time frames.</p><p>•</p><p>Submits all patient billing at the end of each day.</p><p>•</p><p>Instructs patients/family members in home programs.</p><p>•</p><p>Demonstrates effective time management.</p><p>•</p><p>Complies with quality improvement standards.</p><p>•</p><p>Participates in organizational committees as assigned.</p><p>•</p><p>Participates in assigned aspects of affiliated PT/PTA student training.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- NON-ESSENTIAL/OTHER</strong></p><p>OSHA Category I: Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood fluid and tissue.</p><p>Additional:</p><p>•</p><p>There is occupational risk of exposure to TB.</p><p>•</p><p>Risk of exposure to injury while transferring/safeguarding the patient exists.</p><p>•</p><p>Risk of electric shock exists in the use of electronic equipment.</p><p>•</p><p>Works prescheduled and/or voluntary weekends</p>",
